I tried renting an orbital standing sander, but that failed miserably. So I resorted to using a high powered belt sander and was able to sand down and flatten all the seams making the floors flat and level...

Subfloor Sanding
Unfortunately, my supplier delivered the wrong subfloor for our 2nd floor and I didn't arrive in time to catch it, so they used cheap stuff. Luckily, they did use Advantech on the first floor, which after many rain storms and standing water, is still flat as can be. Unluckily, the 2nd floor cupped at all the connecting boards butting up together making it uneven across boards...

Finishing Framing
My framer has been MIA and I'm supposed to have sheetrock start this week, so I've been doing a lot of the back framing and finishing myself this weekend.
I did 2 of these areas on opposite walls framing for a 2x3 door into unfinished storage space and making them perfectly center on the knee wall...

I also found a few interior door rough-in sizes that were wrong and had to fix those, as well as some other access panels like this one...

Electrical Panels
In order to get heating during the winter, I need to get a conditional permit. Since I have gas furnaces, I need to have both gas and electric run to the house. For electric, only the furnaces will be live. My electrician installed the outside panels today...

Insulation Behind Bathtubs
New building codes require any space behind a tub that backs up to an exterior wall or unfinished area must have insulation supported by a rigid backing. I had 2 of these spots to finish today.

Mold Prevention
Yesterday I spent all day applying mold prevention. I rented a fogger and applied the mold control (eliminates and prevents). Figured given all the rain it was better to be safe than sorry.
After fogging each room, I think used the sprayer to apply directly to every base plate and area I knew got extra wet.
This was me running around the house all day (identity hidden to protect the innocent ;-)
Tomorrow I start drying out the house completely with my new toy! 175,000 BTUs!

Water
Since we had so much rain during framing, as a precaution, this weekend I'm going to treat all wood surfaces for mold prevention, and then dry out the house with this bad boy before insulation gets put in. It's like a damn jet engine, 175,000 BTUs!
Oh, and the well pump finally got installed...

Brickwork Continues
And no, our house will not be yellow. That's just primer, and it's too cold out right now to paint. Worst case is we have to wait until early spring to paint it :(

Inspection, Brick Work, Digging
Passed framing inspection yesterday which includes all the mechanical rough-ins (Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical) and pre-insulation fire blocking.
Masons started today...
And I spent the day digging an over 2 foot deep trench to connect to the mechanical room drain and ultimately connect corrugated pipe to down the hill.
