Porch Footers

Well today was no fun, I thought I was done with this crap, but had to dig out the porch foundation column supports in preparation to pour porch slab support...

Pre-insulation

Pre insulation is complete, basically providing for fire blocking, as well as baffles installed...

Roof and Brick

We have the roof on finally!!!  No more water leaks and pumping out damn water!

And the brick has arrived, hopefully to start beginning of next week...

Deck Footers

Bunch of low hanging fruit items I'm trying to get done before the framing inspection, for example I spent some time burying the deck footers so they don't fill with rain water anymore...

Low Voltage Wiring

Over half done with Low Voltage wiring rough-in that I'm doing myself.  Have 15 runs done (about ~1000 feet of wire so far) and another 6 more to do.  Each wire bundle has 2 coax for TV and 2 twisted pair (1-gig ethernet and phone line).

Runs on one side of the house in the basement...

The basement area under the stairs will have the wiring box, so all runs from both sides of house converge here...

While moving lumber, this copperhead came slithering out...
