Steel
We have 2 steel beams in the house, one on the first floor, another on the second.
Unfortunately, the steel was size way too long on the first floor and actually had to be cut in the field... talk about an eventful day :( Here is the steel being placed, cut, and then packed out and trusses hung on it...
Luckily, the second steel beam was much less eventful and fit perfectly...

Seeding the Septic Field
I wanted to do more to level the septic field, but with all the crazy rain this summer, I couldn't afford to lose more soil to erosion and it's been to wet to do anything with it. So I gave in and seeded rye grass for now and will have to redo it all later ...
